Sir, – Christine Fitzpatrick questions if drivers know how to use their indicators (Letters, March 27th). As a learner driver back in the day, it was sensibly pointed out to me by my instructor that a winking indicator only indicated one thing for sure – that it was actually working. It usually took the actions that followed to clarify the driver’s intentions.
