Madam, - Precisely how Séamus Murphy's (April 2nd) reasonable defence of the right of parents to be recognised as the primary educators of children makes him, in the words of Owen Corrigan (April 4th), "another chauvinist Catholic dogmatic" is quite beyond me.
But what is even more astonishing is that The Irish Timeswould open its letters page to irrational, ad hominemattacks of this kind. We expect better from the paper of record.
