Madam, – If you find it necessary to comment on ethics in public office (Editorial, May 4th), how about providing an editorial on ethics in the media and journalism? After all, how ethical is it for RTÉ radio presenters on salaries of over €400,000 to €500,000 to tell low-paid public servants that they have to take pay cuts? The ethics in this is not that the presenters hold that view, but that, any questioning of their pay and motives is off limits!
