Sir, – During Sunday’s hurling semi-final the range of colours on display was interesting. One Kilkenny fashionista had a blue and white helmet, amber and black kit and red boots. Another thought that headgear of tiger-patterned yellow and green was just the ticket.
Waterford, meanwhile, were wearing traditional blue and white, offset with a choice of red, green, yellow or black topping. All very fetching! – Yours, etc,
