Sir, - That was indeed a timely letter from Frank Murray (March 27th) regarding buses masquerading as food containers.
I was just about to send a letter of censure to Dublin Bus after waiting at a stopping-place in expectation of the imminent arrival of a bus for over an hour. Now it seems (according to Mr Murray's information) that the tin of baked beans, the can of beer, and the bottle of ketchup which hurtled down the road past me, and to which I paid scant attention, were, apparently, buses, any of which could have expedited me to my destination.
I am deeply indebted to Mr Murray for enlightening me on this matter. - Yours, etc.,
