DISADVANTAGED youngsters from Dublin inner-city areas will be invited today to use the hoardings around a Garda station to legally display their graffiti art.

Twelve children have been invited to display their talents on the hoardings surrounding the new Kevin Street Garda station under construction in south Dublin. The hoardings are located at the Bride Road entrance.

The 12 have been chosen from three Garda special projects - the Youth Intervention Services Meath Street, Dán Project Donore Avenue/St Teresa's Gardens and Reach Project in Ballyfermot.

They are being helped by students from the College of Art and Design. The projects represent a partnership approach to tackling the problem of anti-social behaviour among young people.
