He didn't get where he is today by being elitist or inaccessible, and just to prove it, world-beating DJ C. J. Bolland will be slinging his record bag on his shoulder and trekking around Ireland over the next week. This is C.J.'s first Irish tour, and it takes him to Panama Jacks in Castlebar tonight, Evolution in Belfast on Friday, and the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin next Saturday. The tour began last night in Wexford and coincides with the release of Bolland's new single, It Ain't Gonna Be Me!, taken from the soundtrack for the British movie, Human Traffic (which stars local lass Lorraine Pilkington). On this Irish jaunt, C.J. will also preview tracks from his forthcoming album, due out in September. If you can't get to any of these gigs, watch out for the Impulse Body Spray ad on your TV screen, which features Bolland's Top 10 hit, Sugar Is Sweeter.
