Dublin:

Dublin:

Eastbound traffic on the Tallaght bypass will be diverted on to a new link road to the Balrothery roundabout, with a freeflow to the M50 north.

There are roadworks and temporary lights for several weeks on the Dublin-Belfast N1 at Julianstown, north of Balbriggan bypass.

For motorists travelling north from the airport, there is a new slip road on the left at the first roundabout coming out of arrivals open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Belfast:

Refurbishment work continues on Albert Bridge. Traffic is two lanes at peak hours and one lane at off-peak times. Delays are expected and diversions are signposted.

Cork:

Pope's Road is closed at its junction with Rathmore Park for three months due to drainage work. Drivers travelling between Dillon's Cross and Blackpool should use Glen Avenue.

The road from Warren's Cross (Barnahely) to its junction with Coolmore Cross Road has been closed to vehicular traffic for the next 12 months.

Limerick:

Roadworks have restarted on the Limerick-Dublin N7 route from Sallymount to Daly's Cross and will continue for six weeks. Traffic will be single lane with some delays.

There are emergency roadworks on Lower Cecil Street from Henry Street to Howley's Quay until mid-March.

Galway:

Due to building work at NUI Galway, the entrance at Newcastle Road has been closed with all traffic entering via University Road for 12 months.

Meath:

There will be major roadworks in Dunboyne for the next five to seven weeks with temporary lights in operation and long delays expected.

Carlow:

Roadworks in Kildavan on the Wexford border between Carlow and Bunclody will continue for several months.

Louth:

There are delays to traffic on the N2 through Collon Village while work is continuing north of Ardee.

Rail information:

For another five weeks, between mid-Monday morning and Friday afternoons, all train services between Dublin and Galway will be disrupted by bus transfers between Ballinasloe and Galway due to track upgrading work.
