Watford - Two children aged 10 and 13 died after being found hanged in a bedroom - apparently because a game had gone tragically wrong. Claire Rogers (13) and her friend Daniel Gibbs (10) were found in Claire's room by her father Stephen Rogers at their home in Croxley Green, Hertfordshire, yesterday. He cut them down and began frantic attempts to save their lives.

They were taken to Watford General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Police described the incident as a tragic accident and stressed there was no suggestion of foul play or suicide.
