Detectives in Northern Ireland are today questioning two men after drugs were seized in house raids in Armagh last night.

Detectives in Northern Ireland are today questioning two men after drugs were seized in house raids in Armagh last night.

Suspected class A and class C substances were recovered during searches in Ashlea Close and Newry Street in Markethill, Co Armagh.

Three men were arrested in the planned operations last night.

One man has since been released on bail while the other two remain in custody, a Police Service spokeswoman said.

The suspected drugs have been sent for forensic tests.
