Three Dublin teenagers accused of stealing a car were remanded in custody with consent to bail yesterday.
Mr Thomas Griffin (19), of Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, and two other 17-year-old youths who cannot be named, appeared before Tallaght District Court. Mr Griffin was charged with driving a stolen car in Tallaght early yesterday morning. The other youths were accused of being passengers in the car.
The court was told there were more serious charges pending "in relation to dangerous driving causing death". An application was made for a remand in custody.
Judge Sean Delap remanded the three in custody with consent to bail on their own bonds of £2,500, plus a surety or lodgement of £2,500.
They were remanded to appear again in Tallaght District Court on April 19th.
