Bamako - At least 30 people were killed in weekend clashes between rival ethnic groups in northern Mali, officials said yesterday. A spokesman for the Territorial Administration Ministry, Mr Amadou Soussoko, said 30 people had died and that the clashes took place on Saturday in Tarkint, a hotbed of ethnic bloodshed.
