Hundreds of guests and the world's media are descending on the small Co Monaghan village of Glaslough today for the wedding of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and former model Heather Mills.
An estimated 300 guests will fly in for the bash in the Castle Leslie estate. The wedding ceremony will take place in a church in the grounds of the estate.
Mr McCartney and Ms Mills have turned down multi-million euro offers for photographs of the wedding, instead one picture will be issued to media for a fee which will be donated to a land mines charity.
The former Beatle has said the wedding will be a family affair. Speaking in the village yesterday evening, Mr McCartney thanked all those who had wished the couple well.
