Mr James Gogarty, who is expected to appear at the Flood tribunal today, will say that when he gave evidence that there was no contact between himself and Mr Michael Bailey from 1992 to 1996 he was referring to meetings and not telephone calls, the tribunal heard yesterday.
The former executive of the Murphy group is being recalled to give evidence about telephone records which apparently show he rang developer Mr Bailey many times in the 1990s. Mr Gogarty had always denied there was contact with Mr Bailey during that time.
