Gardaí are investigating a claim by a 15-year-old boy that he was sexually assaulted close to his home in Co Wicklow.
The boy says he was attacked after going to the assistance of a man who was lying on the ground near a bus stop in Newtownmountkennedy.
The man then allegedly pulled a knife on the teenager before dragging him to wasteland and assaulting him.
A Garda spokeswoman confirmed an investigation into the allegation was under way.
