Republic of Ireland international Gareth Farrellyhas agreed a new contract with Bolton along with Jussi Jaaskelainen and Ricardo Gardner.

Farrelly and Jamaican international Gardner have extended their current deals by three years and Finnish keeperJaaskelainen, who is poised to make a comeback after missing much of last season through cruciate ligament injury, has put his name to aone-year extension.

The new deals mean all three players will remain at the newly promoted Premiership club until 2005.

Manager Sam Allardyce welcomed the trio’s commitment at such a crucial time for the team.
