The Football Association have appointed Nic Coward and David Davies as acting chief executives following the resignation of Adam Crozier last month.

The pair will assume the roles in a temporary capacity until a long-term successor to Crozier is found.

Company secretary Coward has been at the FA since 1996 with Davies, currently the director of international strategy, having been with the association eight years.
