A 33-year-old man was charged at Belfast Magistrates' Court yesterday with possessing £50,000 worth of drugs with intent to supply. Mr Edward Patrick Kearney, from Whitewell Road, Belfast, was arrested last Friday after the RUC Drugs Squad seized five kilos of cannabis resin.
He was remanded in custody for a week.
