A Donegal born journalist has won the international David Watt memorial prize.
Ms Maire Nic Suibhne received the £5,000 prize for a feature on the Shankill Road, Belfast, which appeared in the Guardian in June. She worked in the Middle East for The Irish Times in the 1970s.
