Craft council names new chief

The Crafts Council of Ireland has announced the appointment of Karen Hennessy as its new chief executive.

From Bennettsbridge in Co Kilkenny, Ms Hennessy was appointed in advance of a craft conference which will be held in Dublin Castle next month.
