London - Leading British lawyer Ms Cherie Booth QC yesterday called on her male colleagues to help break the dominance of men in top legal positions across Europe.

Ms Booth, wife of the Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, believes that not enough is being done to combat sex discrimination within the law profession.

"This is not just because I am a female lawyer but because I believe it raises fundamental questions about justice and human rights," she said.
