Trouble flared in the Darnall area of the city after an argument between two neighbouring families got out of hand.

A large group of youths took to the streets and police officers who attended the scene were pelted with bricks and stones.

Three people were arrested for public order offences and two taken to hospital suffering from CS gas inhalation. All those arrested have been released on police bail.
