Irish Sporting Heritage

A new project is aiming to identify all sporting traditions for an inclusive social history of Ireland, and TY students are invited to get involved. They will undertake a historic and geographic survey of a sporting site in their area – whether a handball alley, large stadium, or golf course – and interview local people on what the site means to them.
