Mr Pat Farrell
Yesterday's opinion column by Fintan O'Toole referred to the appointment of Mr Pat Farrell to the board of the IBTS. It has been pointed out that Mr Farrell has over 16 years' experience in the health sector including five years as administrator of Sligo General Hospital and five years as chief executive of Galvia Private Hospital, Galway. The Irish Times accepts that Mr Farrell is fully qualified to serve as a member of the board of the IBTS.
