John O'Mahony will select his team to face Kildare in the All-Ireland football semi-final on Wednesday evening. Midfielder Kevin Walsh and defender John Divilly have both recovered from the long-term injuries which waylaid them for most of the Connacht championship. Walsh did feature in the concluding stages of the provinical final against Leitrim.
Both men are vastly experienced and played key roles in the county's 1998 All-Ireland win. However, given the limited minutes they have accumulated in recent months, the Galway management may be reluctant to start them in a match of this magnitude.

Kildare manager Mick O'Dwyer will select his side to face Galway this evening. They will be back in action following just a two week rest after their Leinster triumph. Seeking to reverse the result of the 1998 All-Ireland final, O'Dwyer has a fully fit panel from which to select.
