CONNACHT LEAGUE Galway 1-18 New York 0-4:JOE KERNAN picked up his first silverware as Galway manager as his side romped home to an easy win in New York in the final of the Connacht League last night.

Galway led by 0-11 to 0-1 at the interval. Eoin Concannon got the only goal of the contest to seal the win in the second-half with Darren Mullahy outstanding throughout.
