Madam, – My sanity has been restored having read Ann Marie Hourihane’s article (Opinion, April 11th). I was becoming obsessed with the thousands of dandelions which have suddenly appeared all over my garden; running around like a madwoman chopping their heads off with a spade and to my shame shouting and swearing at them for daring to upset my vision of how things should be. I am okay now though. Calm, thanks to Ms Hourihane’s rational words. – Yours, etc,
