A 17-year-old Belfast youth will appear in Belfast Magistrates' Court today charged with murder following the death of a goalkeeper during a match on the outskirts of Belfast on Saturday.

Samuel Reid (25), from Cookstown, Co Tyrone, died following an alleged assault during the game at Mallusk playing fields between his team, Sporting Lisburn Road, and Glanville Stars. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Antrim Area Hospital.
