A Co Tipperary man was killed when his car overturned early yesterday at Kilkeary in Nenagh. He was named as Mr Kevin Hassett (29), of Ciamalta Road in the town. Gardai said it appeared the car struck a tree.
A cyclist died in a road accident in Tallaght, Co Dublin, yesterday when he was hit by a truck at Kingswood roundabout.
