This week's other travel news in brief
Can cliffs bubble up?
Fáilte Ireland is urging people to vote by Tuesday to make the Cliffs of Moher one of the “New 7 Wonders of Nature” in a soft-drink marketing campaign. Paul Keeley of Fáilte Ireland says: “7 Wonders status would further raise the profile of this great Irish landmark, and the marketing value alone of such recognition would be priceless.” A top-seven place could increase visitors to the Cliffs of Moher from 1 million to 1.35 million a year, says Fáilte Ireland. Voting is at www.7upfree.ie.

The National Museum of Ireland's Decorative Arts History branch, at Collins Barracks in Dublin, is holding a series of events in connection with Come Back to Erin, its travel-poster exhibition, which runs until August 23rd. The family season will kick off on Sunday, July 19th, with My Museum Musical Postcards, a music workshop with accordionist Martin Tourish. www.museum.ie.
