Co Kildare: from €194,950 Apartments and townhouses go on sale for the first time this weekend at Chambers Park, a development by Glenford Construction just outside the village of Kilcock in Co Kildare.
Prices start at €194,950 for two-bedroom apartments suitable for first-time buyers. Two and three-bedroom houses are also on offer, priced from €219,950 and €239,950 respectively.
The selling agent is Hamilton Osborne King. Show units will be open for viewing on Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 90 units are being released for sale in this phase, out of 300 in the entire scheme when completed.
The development is designed along the lines of a village, with small shops, a convenience store and a crèche. Low density will be an attraction at Chambers Park, with plenty of open spaces and child-friendly streetscapes.
House fronts are of full brick with two-storey bay windows clad in pine. A tiny front patch is paved and walled, ready for a cluster of planters. All bedrooms will have fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room off the largest bedroom. Sizes average 58 sq m (634 sq ft) for two-bedroom apartments, 69 sq m (742 sq ft) for two-bedroom townhouses and 89 sq m (959 sq ft) for three-bed townhouses.
A full alarm system is also a standard fitting and heating is by natural gas. Commuting is relatively trouble-free from the development, with Kilcock and Maynooth train stations within easy reach and over 20 train services to the city daily. The M50 is about 20 minute's drive via the M4.
Construction in this phase is well under way and properties will be ready to change hands before Christmas this year according to the selling agents.
The entire development is scheduled for completion within three years. The most recent new homes scheme by developer Glenford is Cruagh Manor in Stepaside, Co Dublin.
