SOUTH DUBLIN

DECISION TO REFUSE

Location: Former Johnston & Johnson site, Old Belgard Rd, Tallaght, D24. Proposed development: Demolish industrial and office premises, boundary wall and railing. DÚN LAOGHAIRE-RATHDOWN

Location: Lands at junction of Booterstown Ave and Stillorgan Rd (currently the Communications Centre Site), Co Dublin. Proposed development: Four three-bed one and two-storey houses within previously approved development (D02A/1198), provision of an additional five parking spaces, with ancillary landscape works. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: Blackrock College, Rock Road, Blackrock, Co Dublin. Proposed development: Erect two single storey temporary buildings for use as ancillary hospital accommodation for a period of five years. Applicant: Blackrock Hospital Limited.

DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL

Location: Old Wesley RFC & Leinster Branch IRFU, Donnybrook Rd, Donnybrook, D4. Proposed development: Demolish obsolete buildings in site. Erect new three-storey over semi-basement premises to comprise changing and training facilities shared by both parties, hospitality/entertainment suite for Leinster Branch, offices for Leinster Branch and Old Wesley RFC, multi-purpose function facilities for use by Old Wesley members and guests for social and entertainment purposes, new terraces and seating to pitch, and a new link staircase between the new and existing building. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: AIB Bankcentre, Merrion Rd, north of Merrion Rd and west of Serpentine Ave, Ballsbridge, D4. Proposed development: Office scheme of 36,834 sq m (396,480 sq ft) in three linked blocks of five to seven storeys over basement. Phase one of 30,466 sq m (327,933 sq ft)and including Blocks K and L including central and eastern entrance atrium to Block K of 29,650 sq m (319,150 sq ft). Proposed development: Demolish gate house adjacent to North Circular Rd, removal of remains of a glasshouse, relocation of existing pillars to create widened gate opening and creation of one new pedestrian gate in stone wall to North Circular Rd and one pedestrian gate to Berkeley Rd.
