Esat Digifone customers will be able to purchase tickets for concerts, sports and theatre events using the WAP phones or a computer following a deal agreed with Tickmaster Ireland.

To facilitate the initiative, which is one of the first agreed ticketing arrangements for WAP in Ireland, Digifone has introduced a range of new WAP-based handsets.
