Sir, – Des Gunning (April 10th) refers to a publication called Scissors and Paste. This should be Cut & Paste. Cut & Paste is a publication devoted to the study of Arthur Griffith and his contemporaries. Scissors and Paste was a newspaper edited by Arthur Griffith in 1914 which circumvented the Defence of the Realm Act by reproducing and subverting newspaper articles that had been passed by the censor. I am grateful that, at present, there is no need for us to revert to such techniques. The latest edition (2022) of Cut & Paste is available from printwellbooks.com. – Yours, etc,
