Anthony Daly named head coach of Limerick academy

Limerick have announced the appointment of former Clare player and manager Anthony Daly as head coach of the their hurling academy.

Since stepping down as manager of the Dublin hurlers there has been much speculation as to Daly's future, but with Jerry Wallace gone from the post, Limerick moved quickly to snap up Daly's services.

The Clarecastle man will also coach the Limerick minor hurlers as part of the Leo O'Connor managed side who were favourites for last season's All Ireland only to lose out to Kilkenny in the final.
