A chara, – Novak Djokovic has acquired a natural immunity from previous infection which studies have shown is more robust and longer lasting than vaccine acquired immunity. He has a medical exemption from vaccination approved by two independent panels of experts and he poses no greater threat to the health of Australians than any other vaccinated tennis player, as the vaccinated can continue to spread the virus. Other unvaccinated players have permission to play. Of course, the rules must apply equally to all, but the problem here is not Novak Djokovic, it is with draconian rules that have no scientific basis for their implementation.
