Sir, – As thrilled as I was to receive a Christmas card on Nollaig na mBan or Little Christmas (January 6th) from a friend in the next county, I was somewhat mystified as to how she actually orchestrated the timing of its delivery, given the postmark of December 15th, 2021!
Could the “Ho ho ho” stamp on the envelope be a sign that An Post is having a laugh? – Yours, etc,
