Sir, – Unless Hugh Lane was the Prisoner of Zenda, fleeing his captors by sea (and, quite possibly, a time machine), he is unlikely to have died "in the Ruritania disaster" (TV listings, September 5th). I suspect that the RMS Lusitania was what was intended. – Yours, etc,
