Sir, – I take issue with the headline in the business section of your Friday paper – “Irish eyes will not be smiling if war keeps US tourists away”. I understand that it has been a difficult two years but the headline is unfortunate. Looking at the ads on the back of your paper, it’s evident nothing has changed. For the price of two nights in a hotel midweek it would be cheaper to travel to the Continent for a holiday.
