2. If the answer to 1 or either part thereof is "yes", were the words complained of published by the defendant without genuine belief in their truth?

3. If the answer to 1 or either part thereof is "yes" and whether the answer to 2 is "yes" or "no", assess damages.

The jury unanimously decided that the answer to Question 1 (b) was no. They could not reach a majority verdict (9-3 or greater) on 1 (a).
