Seoul - Declassified US documents show South Korean military and police executed 1,800 prisoners at a jail south of Seoul in the early days of the Korean War in 1950, a Seoul newspaper reported yesterday. The documents also describe a massacre at another prison the following year, but it was not known how many prisoners were killed there, the Korea Times reported.
