A new £1 million tourist centre has opened at Knockatallon in Co Monaghan, close to the Fermanagh border. The Sliabh Beagh Tourism Centre contains 14 bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, and conference and community facilities. Funding was received from the EU, the International Fund for Ireland and Monaghan County Council.
