Geneva - An aircraft of the Swiss airline Crossair has narrowly avoided a collision, only one week after another of its planes crashed in Zurich, the company said yesterday.

A Crossair Saab 2000 taking off at Zurich airport on Saturday narrowly missed a Portugese TAP Airbus on the ground, the Crossair spokesman, Mr Andreas Schwander, said confirming reports in the Swiss Sunday newspapers.
