Safe stolen in Limerick garage ram-raid

Co Limerick gardaí are investigating a robbery at a car dealership this morning.

Co Limerick gardaí are investigating a robbery at a car dealership this morning.

A spokesman said the front door of a garage premises at Knocklong was rammed by a vehicle at around 5 a.m.

A large grey safe - similar in size to a washing machine - was then removed from the premises. The safe contained invoices, accounts, chequebooks and car keys.

The garage owners have offered a reward for the return of the safe.
