THE moon and the planet Mars will be in conjunction in night skies during the coming week. The two bodies will appear adjacent and will be the brightest objects overhead. Mars appears as a very bright star with a reddish tinge and is almost directly overhead when the observer faces south. The moon will intersect its path.
