Gardaí in Tralee are investigating a serious assault on a man (21) in the town yesterday evening.
The man was discovered lying on the street at Brewery Road shortly after 6pm yesterday.
His condition in Kerry General Hospital is described as serious but stable. The scene has been examined and preserved.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was on the Brewery Road between 6pm and 6.30pm yesterday to contact them.
