A Killarney man is recovering this morning after receiving multiple stab wounds in an incident in the Co Kerry town last night.
A Garda spokesman said the 40-year-old-man - who has not been named - was on the by-pass road at 9.30 when the "serious stabbing incident" occurred.
A 17-year-old youth was arrested and questioned before being released. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
