Gardaí are investigating the fatal shooting of a man whose body was found earlier this evening.
The man's body was discovered lying close to the local church in Donnyloop, Castelfin, Co Donegal, close to the border with Strabane, Northern Ireland.
The scene has been preserved and the services of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau have been requested.
Gardaí from Lifford Garda station are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact them.
