A man (19) has been charged with assaulting Celtic and former Northern Ireland midfielder Neil Lennon.
The move follows an alleged sectarian incident in the Hillhead area of Glasgow last week in which Lennon suffered facial injuries.
No date has yet been set for the man's court appearance. He has been released from custody.
Lennon quit the Northern Ireland soccer team last year following loyalist sectarian threats to himself and his family.
