A man is due in court today in connection with an attack on a firefighter in Dublin last year.
The man (20) is accused of throwing an object at a fire engine in Fairview on June 9th last. One fire crew member suffered severe facial injuries.
A large number of people who had attended a Robbie Williams concert in Croke Park are believed to have witnessed the attack.
The man was arrested this morning and charged with assault contrary to Section 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.
